My dad has been growing fruit and veg, well, since I was born.I remember going along with him, my mum and brother to pick strawberries when we were just little kids. And then helping my mum to turn the delicious berries into her delicious jam.

We used to watch dad digging the potatoes out of the ground and gathering parsnips ready for our Christmas dinners, to go alongside some Chilli jam,. sticky condiment or Chutney that had been made by my mother.

If I can persuade them to write on this Blog then I hope that they will give tips for seasonal growing and some top recipes to go with produce. Goodness knows they have had to creative over the years when kilos of soft fruits are all harvested in one go!
